I recently graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, where I was pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature, with a focus on English and Russian Language and Literature. I have experience tutoring ESL students in English grammar and essay writing and hold TEFL certification. My teaching experience includes tutoring ESL students at Berkeley and teaching English in Hong Kong. I've worked with students of varied ages and learning levels and really enjoy assisting students with English grammar and writing skills. I've taught multiple forms of writing, including personal writing, formal academic writing, and creative writing. Most schools are not teaching students to write in a clear and engaging manner, though it is my belief that this skill is necessary for any student to succeed, and very few students get the personal attention they require. I'm here to help students excel at writing, literature analysis, SAT test prep, phonics, and general English language knowledge. When I'm not tutoring, my interests include reading, drawing, and knitting.
